Wireless networks to the rescue

This is a completly useless blog post. Right now I'm in a park in the south of Stockholm, having a beer with a couple of friends. Since a quick scan with the laptop turned up three unsecured networks I'd just had to post an entry. As long as people don't secure their wireless networks there'll be no need for commercial hotspots. Lovely.

Arvika, day 3

The festival is over, it's 05:00 in the morning and we've been winding up the IT and telecomunications since a bit before midnight. Now it's just the core staff connected and online and I've just said goodnight and goodbye to most of my crew, I'll see a few of them tomorrow and the rest at next years festival!

Now I'm gonna write a debriefing, then I'm off to bed. Over and out.

Arvika, day 2

The second day here at the Arvika music festival is slowly coming to an end. VNV Nation is currently wrapping up their set. Havn't seen much today, although the camping was fun after the rain (we had a sh#!&%load of it). It was all mud and gore. The Kristet Utseende was fun to see although they seemed a bit tired, they're getting old...

Arvika, day 1

The last couple of weeks have been quite hectic so it's been a while since I updated. I do hope to get back on track with the regular computer related stuff after my vacation.

Right now I'm at the Arvika music festival, working with the IT and communication related stuff. We're (trying) to make sure that all the stages have internet and working phones. I arrived yesterday evening and I'm heading back home to Stockholm on sunday evening. So far I've only had time to watch Entombed. They were great fun (as always) and did a good show. DAF played earlier and New Order is currently playing at the main stage, neither of them is really my cup of tea. Although it's always fun to see large acts. At two o'clock Mustasch are to enter one of the stages. I'm looking forward to that, although I'm gonna be dead tired by then.
